Brother Gaius Forlu UPC pastor in Astabula, Ohio told us this past Monday about his recent evangelistic crusade in Pakistan. The story goes like this. A cab driver was driving by people praying in a park. He thought it was so unusual that he stopped. He took a picture of the people praying with his camera. When he looked at the picture this is what he saw! Is this an angel?

Because of the supernatural appearance. He chose to follow Jesus Christ in a very anti-Christian country! Thank you, Jesus!

Steve Lee Richardson, 64, of Bloomington, passed away January 7, 2012. He was born October 9, 1947, in Bloomington to Leon and Edith Galyan Richardson.
Steve is most widely known as the songwriter for popular Gospel song, "Daystar", and has also written many other songs including "Just To Walk With Him", "He Took the Law In His Own Hands", "Mercy Seat", and more. He was also a member of the Calvary Four Quartet.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00 p.m. at New Life Fellowship, 7839 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47803, with Pastor Jeffrey C. Harpole officiating.

Who are the Kleins?

The Klein’s have ministered in the USA, Nigeria, Mexico, Canada, and Israel. They minister by preaching crusades, one on one, and Bible schools. They have planted churches. Their last church was founded in Kaplan, Louisiana. They pastured from October 2010 to October 2011. They brought a new pastor to pastor this church. Presently, they are traveling from church to church teach and preaching.

Dr. Klein was a missionary in China for three years. He taught in a university and trained Chinese leadership to start underground churches. The Holy Ghost would bring the individuals to Dr. Klein who would train them three or four hours a day for three or four days a week for three or four months then they were to never contact Dr. Klein again. Prayerfully, there are many churches in China because of this ministry.

They also plant Bible colleges and seminaries in other countries. There are forty plus schools; about 2,000 students are being trained per week. Dr. Klein has written about twenty books which are the study guides for the students.

Dr. Klein has a unique degree. He has a Master of Arts degree in Islam. He studied to be an imam of a mosque. They knew he was an American and a Christian; but they didn’t know he was Jewish.

Most of Dr. Klein’s Biblical training was from Baptist Bible colleges and seminaries. He studied Hebrew in synagogues, seminary, with a private tutor and in Israel. He teaches Biblical Greek and Hebrew. He has written a couple of booklets and a book on Biblical Greek.

It is also very surprising to read the different views of theologians and apologists concerning this doctrine. It is my desire to give factual evidence. I have spent countless hours and many sleepless nights researching and comparing Biblical texts to be sure that what I have written is based on fact. This research is only a small portion of what is available to those who will search and is not meant to be conclusive or exhaustive on the subject. I want the reader to decide if it’s a valid truth. 	How the quote appears in "Should you believe in the Trinity", Watchtower, JW's booklet. "In the same way, since John 1:1 shows that the Word was with God, he could not be God but was "a god," or "divine." Joseph Henry Thayer, a theologian and scholar who worked on the American Standard Version, stated simply: "The Logos was divine, not the divine Being himself." ("Joseph Henry Thayer's personal copy of Griesbach's Greek New Testament text, 1809, with Thayer's handwritten comments on John 1:1 interleaved." Watchtower organization's own words as to the source)
What they fail to tell you about the quote	After a long and tedious effort to make the Watchtower disclose the source of the quote, they replied: "Joseph Henry Thayer's personal copy of Griesbach's Greek New Testament text, 1809, with Thayer's handwritten comments on John 1:1 interleaved." (Watchtower organization's own words)
Here is a portion of Grimm's comments on THEOS in his Lexicon which Thayer translated.	"2. Whether Christ is called God must be determined from Jn. i. 1 ; xx. 28 ; I Jn. v. 20; Ro. ix. 5; Tit. ii. 13; Heb. i. 8 sq., etc.; the matter is still in dispute among theologians; cf. Grimm, Institutio theologiae dogmaticae, ed. 2, p. 228 sqq. [and the discussion (on Ro. ix. 5) by Professors Dwight and Abbot in Journ. Soc. Bib. Lit. etc. u. s., esp. pp. 42 sqq. 113 sqq.]. 3. spoken of the only and true GOD: with the article, Mt. iii. 9; Mk. xiii. 19; Lk. ii. 13; Acts ii. 11" (Joseph Henry Thayer: A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament, THEOS) Actually Grimm should be spanked for making such irresponsible comments. No one disputes whether the Greek word "THEOS" (and the corresponding English translation: GOD) applies to Jesus. The question is the "theological meaning" of theos/god as it applies to Jesus. Even Jehovah's witnesses believe that THEOS/GOD is applied to Jesus because they openly call Jesus "A GOD" (Jn 1:1), "GOD" (Jn 20:28), "MIGHTY GOD". (Isa 9:6) If you don't believe us, this is exactly how the New World Translation renders the phrases, with various squabbles over whether it should be "A GOD" or "a god". (As if it makes any difference.) So both Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses stand together in opposing Grimm's own comments, because even JW's agree that Jn 1:1 calls Jesus "a god". Thayer didn't offer his OWN opinion on the subject, and Grimm only said that there was a dispute. Yet even here no one disputes that "theos" is applied to Jesus in John 1:1. Did you hear that? NO ONE, not even Jehovah's Witnesses disputes the Jesus is called GOD or THEOS in John 1:1! Interesting that Thayer could have added a personal comment here, but did not! However, he did add a reference to another famous Unitarian's article by Abbot!
Proof Thayer was Unitarian	Some challenge whether Thayer was Unitarian, saying, he was instead Congregationalist. We simply quote the "Publishers Introduction" to Thayer's famous lexicon: "A word of caution is necessary. Thayer was a Unitarian, and the errors of this sect occasionally come through in the explanatory notes. The reader should be alert for both subtle and blatant denials of such doctrines as the Trinity (Thayer regarded Christ as a mere man and the Holy Spirit as an impersonal force emanating from God), the inherent and total depravity of fallen human nature, the eternal punishment of the wicked, and Biblical inerrancy." (Joseph Henry Thayer: A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament, Publishers Introduction, page VII, Baker Book House) "The Greek word for equal is ison,’ which according to Thayer’s Greek Lexicon (p. 307), an acknowledged authority, means equal in quality as in quantity, to claim for oneself, the nature, rank, authority, which belong to God’ (John 5:18). Dr. Thayer, Jehovah’s Witnesses might take notice, was a Unitarian who denied Christ’s Deity even as they themselves do; yet, being honest, he gave the true meaning of the Biblical terms even they contradicted his views." (Kingdom of the Cults, Walter Martin. p 67) "The late Dr. Joseph F. Thayer, a Unitarian scholar, author of one of the best lexicons of the Greek New Testament (who, incidentally, denied the visible second coming of Christ), said on page 490 of that work, when speaking of parousia’: ... a return (Phillipians 1:26)... In the New Testament especially of the Advent, i.e., the future visible return from heaven of Jesus, the Messiah, to raise the dead, hold the last judgment, and set up formally and gloriously the Kingdom of God.’ (Kingdom of the Cults, Walter Martin. p 81) Dr. Thayer, it might be mentioned, was honest enough to say what the New Testament Greek taught, even though he didn’t believe it." (Kingdom of the Cults, Walter Martin. p 81)
Deception Exposed:	The Watchtower fails to tell you that Thayer is not a Trinitarian, but a Unitarian who believed Jesus was a creature. No wonder nobody could find where Thayer said the quote in the Watchtower booklet! Now stop and think about this for a moment. We will grant that the book was Thayer's and even that the comment was in his own handwriting! (How could anyone really confirm this for sure?) But a marginal note may or may not represent what he personally believed! He may have written it there to express another's view as a reminder. Thayer's most famous work, "A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament" is Thayer's translation of Grimm's work. Thayer often makes his own personal comments in addition to Grimm's words in this lexicon. Thayer's words are always denoted with square brackets [Thayer's comments] in Grimm's lexicon. (We flagged them in blue above.) We wonder what value there is in even quoting Thayer's handwritten note (if it is even his handwriting) since the official choice of translation used by Jehovah's Witnesses is different from what Thayer said. It was the Watchtower that chose not to translate Jn 1:1 "and the word was divine". But Jehovah's Witnesses will quote any translation of Jn 1:1 that might indicate Jesus was a creature, even it is a translation they disagree with. And one final note. Even though Thayer was theologically close to Jehovah's Witnesses in their view of Jesus, his footnote really doesn't help them. Thayer's comment: "The Logos was divine, not the divine Being himself." Is easily agreeable to any Trinitarian. Who is divine, but uncreated God? The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are all uncreated God and are all equally divine, yet they differ from one another, or as Thayer put it: "The Logos [Jesus] was divine, not the divine Being himself [the Father mentioned in Jn 1:1b].

Our Talk with Denver L. Stanford

Hello Friends,

Sister Klein and I spoke with Brother Denver L. Stanford who is presently a home missionary. Sister Klein remembers him teaching on soul winning at a church she was outreach director of in Pensacola, Florida. The church is Brentwood UPC, Brother Jimmy Mitchell is the pastor. Brother Stanford told us he traveled from church to church teaching on soul winning for eight and a half years.

Brother Stanford's main point in his talk with us can be summarized in his statement. "If a Christian is not winning souls, there is something wrong!"

At the age of seventy-four, he is very much a soul winner.

He told us stories about interviewing men who had graduated from UPC Bible colleges who had never won a soul.

Most church denominations consider "born of water" is water baptism.
Most church denominations consider "born of Spirit" is Holy Spirit baptism.
Most church denominations consider "born of flesh" is born of your Mom.

Jesus continued to speak:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Does John 3:16 negate John 3:5-6? Should John 3:16 cause a person to ignore John 3:5-6.

In Baptist Bible colleges and seminaries, I was taught to read Scripture for what it says not to spiritualize or correct Scripture to agree with denominational theology. That in itself is correct. Was it followed in determining Baptist theological doctrines? No. Verses were ignored because they don't agree with Baptist doctrine. A person must combine all of the Scriptures to form theological doctrines. Systematic Theology vs. Biblical Theology. Systematic Theology is written to support the doctrines of a denomination. Biblical Theology is written based only on the written Word.

What do you believe? How did you arrive at your belief system?

The Holy Ghost, after the baptism of the Holy Ghost, had me spending quality time after Baptist seminary education to read the Holy Bible. Jesus was showing me what the Scriptures are saying. I was being retrained, based only on the Holy Bible, not man's training. What does the Holy Bible really say.

A very clear question was asked. A very clear answer was given.

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38

Very clear directions to salvation:
1. Repent
2. Be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins
3. Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

Not to obey these directions is grounds for the legal sentence of damnation in Hell!

Hello Friends,

The Roman Catholic Church has had much influence on Christianity, as we know it. Not all of those influences are bad. There have been very good examples of people leaving wealth to serve Jesus, and living a very good life. Not everyone in every form of religion is a bad apple or example. Religion in a sense does serve the world's population. We see many good religious groups feeding hungry children and helping pay for schools and shelter for the needy. We have to be very careful in attacking false teachings not to attack the sincerity of those caught up in them, but realize that regardless there are those who are sincerely wrong. We also need to keep in mind that the same principle we are applying in study needs to apply in all areas. If we are to take the stance that steeples are wrong then what of the pulpit? If we are to stand against the use of the word "Christian", then we are to also take into account that more than likely Jesus or the Apostles did not wear a "Cleric Collar". If we are to see clearly, taking the beam out of our own eyes is a prerequisite before reaching out to helping others remove the "mote" that is interfering with their vision. Yet, we have to stand up for Biblical Truth regardless of associations or institutions. As Jesus does surgery with the Word in our own hearts let us share the truth in love remembering who it is that has called us out. It is not by any works that we have done but by the precious blood of Christ Jesus that we have the privilege of serving others. The old hymn,"To Be Like Jesus", should be our goal. Let us measure all things by the Cross and Sacrifice He made for the souls of men and women.

How Is A Christian Identified?

Hello Everyone,
I trust you are having a Jesus week! I have been thinking lately about how people identify themselves. People have always since Babylon grouped off with those who speak their language. Its been that way for Centuries. How about in Christianity in our world? Not True Biblical Christianity but the Religious view? I often ask people to come to Church Meetings. Sometimes I get the response,"Oh, I'm Catholic or I'm Baptist etc." It seems the mindset for some is that Jesus is Catholic or Baptist. He is not!!!
Jesus is God. He is not going to ask you when you arrive at Heaven's gate if you were Baptist or Catholic or Pentecostal and how closely you followed the religions rules. He is going to ask you if you kept His Holy Word and if your name is written in the Book of Life ?There are some who need to wake up and find Jesus before its too late.

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Jesus in Non-Denominational. He is God. He doesn't underwrite Religious groups. He underwrites His word. As long as someone is following Jesus and keeping His Word and allowing that Word to do the Work its supposed to then
that person is being led by Jesus. The minute they get off into all the mindsets and theologies that don't coincide with the Word then that person is (and sorry is no better term that I can think of right now to describe it) LOST! If you were on a path that led to Heaven and you are off that path then you are LOST and need to get back on track.

Awesome Sunday Service

What a blessing to be in our Church Meeting today in Kaplan, La. We started out praying and thanking Jesus for all the blessings in our lives. Then we moved onto praise and worship. Our Pastor Brother Klein began to preach and teach the word or God with power and anointing. Jesus was so amazing in our midst. French Accordion music permeated the room and we danced and clapped and worshiped Jesus! Brothers and Sisters testified in Cajun French and gave great reports of the wonderful works of God. The children went into the classroom to do art projects and I assisted them. We then came back to join the service. Brother Klein asked me to share what the Lord had given me earlier in the morning. I began to speak out of the book of Matthew
about the parable of the sower. I did not know that this was the subject Pastor Klein had just spoken on. Sister Hazel Henry told Brother Klein....hey she is preaching on the same subject. He said not to let on. I then began to elaborate on the text and Pastor Klein said I brought it out from an entirely different perspective than he had. This proved to me today of a certainty that we are so blessed to be a team for Jesus here in Kaplan teaching and preaching together. Right after service we baptized a young man named Kevin. Well Brother Kevin went down in the water in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. When he came up we laid hands on him to receive the Holy Ghost baptism. The Spirit of the Lord fell upon him in a great way and he began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit of God gave him utterance. He was so excited that not long after he began to preach to all of us standing there. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ for the increase and for our new Brother in Jesus Christ.

First Bread Ministry/Fellowship Meeting Huge Success!

Hey if you missed being a part of Bread Ministry this past Sunday you really missed being a blessing. We had an awesome time of fellowship and community outreach. What a terrific thing to get together with local businesses in our community and distribute bread to every one who desired some. We make no difference in economic status but whoever wants bread receives it. Jesus did this. He did not only feed the poor but also those who asked. That is a Bible principle. Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name.GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. That prayer that Jesus gave us is an example of how to ask. Everyone who asks receives. July 31, 2011 Bread Ministry/Fellowship Meeting Everyone Invited to help/attend!

Working on Bread Ministry today. We are soliciting the local businesses in our area for a blessing in our community. The last day of the month we have a big fellowship meeting and fix a meal. My awesome church people are then going to fix plate lunches and distribute them to elderly in our community. We are also going to give out bread and snack cakes to who ever shows up that day. Its a way of giving back some of the blessings God has given us. Its no great thing but a nice thing. I love this church. Every Thursday we go into a local retirement community and have service and sing. I play the guitar. One of the men ministers in French and the other in English. We then drive to the home of a shut in and have service. The lady cannot get out but we who are able go. It is so amazing to be involved in the work of Jesus on planet earth! Anyone who would like to attend this Fellowship meeting may come. We will even feed you and give you bread to take home. Its Sunday coming the 31st at 10 am till noon and after noon until about three or four depending on how many singers/speakers we have. I am also interested in poetry if anyone writes it come and give us a reading. Inspiration is what Jesus gives. We want you to be able to share your gift. Our speakers, singers etc are volunteers. An Incredible Day! An Incredible Life!

I am so excited as we got to go down to the area where I was raised as a child today. It seemed so serene. I have traveled many beautiful places in the world but none match the beauty of the bayou and my childhood home of Franklin, La. The sleepy Bayou Teche runs lazily along a beautiful green carpet of grass and tall mossy oak trees. No place on earth holds as fond memories for me. My dear brother Mike, who was ten years my senior, lies to rest on the banks of the muddy Bayou Teche. I did not take the opportunity to stop by today but will in the near future. I love to reminisce and walk among the resting places of dear departed family and loved ones. The family names are etched upon marble and granite but always will be etched upon my heart. Dear Ms. Hattie Martin used to bring flowers to the grave of her husband Emmet and she never forgot Mike. My mama would find nice arrangements upon his tomb many times and we knew Hattie remembered him.
She was such a great person. I drove by her old business today Franklin Flower shop and remembered as a child how my brother did deliveries for her and how dear Marie used to work there. She was our down stairs neighbor when our apartment caught on fire. Life goes on in this sleepy community. The stillness and beauty that awaits visitors there is unmatched in my travels. I thought today as I drove around," I hope the people who are blessed to live this idyllic live are thankful every day as they awaken." The world though it offers beautiful places and treasures you can frame and put in statue cases cannot match the wonder of a life well lived in a place well loved.

The Lord opened up the Windows of Heaven in Exodus and fed His Children. He did not feed the whole world. He fed those who were His and kept His Commandments. Those who disregarded His Word on this Matter went back and tried to harvest on the same day they had been doing so which was on the Seventh Day or Yom. They did not profit to disregard God's Word. The Bible says," What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his soul?"
When the Lord speaks a word concerning a matter He means what He says. He has not changed in that sense. He again went to Moses and told Him if the people would keep His commandments that His Word Had not changed but went forth as He said to accomplish that which it set out to do. His Word never returns to Him void. It is a matter forever settled in heaven. Surely some of them out of ignorance or just plain rebellion refused to regard the Word of the Lord but they were not blessed for it. His people who had faith in His Word however were blessed.
Why is it that people think they are so special and that the God we serve, even the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the image of the invisible God made flesh does not uphold His own Word?
He is the Word read John 1:1 It says the Word was God. The Bible also says that He is the Manna come from Heaven. He is the Bread of Life. We are not to live by bread alone meaning the bread that we labour for but every Word which proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
When we live by our own means and break the Word of the Lord we cannot expect Him to bless us. He did not start it in the beginning...see Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deut etc
and He is not going to start doing it now. Obey His Word. Keep watch over His Word. Is He not our High Priest seated in the Heavenlies ever keeping watch over His Word to perform it?

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Faith and Obedience walk hand in Hand. You cannot have One and not the other and please the Lord. It does not work that way.

So then we as Children of God will be blessed if we keep His Word.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Many times people are deceived in believing that they have nothing to do on their part except believe. That is deceiving. We have to have faith and faith is active. Faith without works is dead. We do not get to heaven by works alone nor do we get to heaven by faith alone. A person can believe something yet never put that belief into action. The devils believe there is One God and they tremble the Word says. A person can be a devil inside and know the Bible is true yet refuse to serve Jesus so believing alone is not enough. That does not save you. It needs to be taken a step farther. Believing the house is on fire is fine but if you sit there and go to your death burning because you were too stubborn to get out of the fire zone to a place of safety then your belief does not profit you whatsoever. We have to be doers of the Word not just hearers. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of the Lord. It all works together for good!

I spent my entire day today studying for the Bible Study I am teaching tonight. Before I knew it time had flown and it is was almost time to save, print and get ready to leave. I find the Word so wonderful that I get so absorbed that time stands still.

Biblical Greek Class

Dr.Klein's Biblical Greek Class has been studying and working on translating a text this past week.
They are so excited to be able to read even a small portion (for some a larger portion) of the text in the original language. It really does my heart good to see the amount of study many of them are putting into it. Their Greek text books are becoming ragged already. They poor over the charts. If a person has a desire to learn and look into the things of Jesus that desire births more desire and the end is a greater revelation of who He is. That is what studying the Word of Jesus is about. In the book of John we see the scripture reading:
John 1:1 [KJV]
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
If the Logo's was in the beginning and that same Logo's was with God and that same Logo's was God and we want to know more about Him we can read his thoughts every day of the week. In doing so we will have a greater revelation and deeper knowledge of who He is. The next step after knowledge is then application.
We need to do as the Word says in
Rom 2:13 [KJV]
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Jas 1:22 [KJV]
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Knowledge is great and Revelation is great but even greater is application.

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Be blessed in applying the Word of Jesus to your life.

Faith in Jesus doesn’t call the man or woman down the road to treat them. Instead Christians go to the Lord in prayer asking the Elders (Pastor/Evangelist/Prophet/Teacher etc) to anoint with oil in the name of the Lord such as the book of James teaches in Chapter 5 verse 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

No one can tell me oh its okay and that it’s just our culture. God does not okay sin because it’s embedded in your culture. “Well it works,” some say. That doesn’t make it right with Jesus. People go to Mass or Church meetings and still go and get their cards read. Tell me what Priest or Pastor teaches that going to the fortune teller is okay? Where in the Bible does it say to use passed down secret knowledge to heal?

The children of our day have been very educated via media and games how to work spells to get what they want. A recent sorcery book that was brought into my home by my daughter went into the trash. I watched my Grandma walk to church and all of her children turned out fantastic. None were ever in jail. All of them made a good living and made her proud to be called their mother. One of the Ten Commandments is to honor our mothers and fathers. Read Exodus Chapter 20 for yourself. Do not lie. Do not steal. Honor the Sabbath day and keep it Holy. Do not covet or be greedy. There is only One God. Do not worship idols (not just statues either). Keep your marriage vows. If you are living a sinful life consider that you are teaching your children how to sin. Truth needs to start being taught in the homes. We have the responsibility for our homes. Measure yourself by the mirror of God’s Word not by what you think is right. If you don’t understand what you read then call me I teach Bible classes free of charge. My husband taught English for three years in China at a University. He can teach anyone to read the Bible with the Lord’s help. Jesus is God.

If you don't obey Jesus Christ, than don't waste your time praying!

Adam and Eve didn't loose the garden for not praying. They were praying. They lost the garden for not obeying.

The Israelites didn't loose the Promised Land for not praying. They lost the Promised Land for not obeying.

If you are not going to obey Jesus Christ, than why pray?

Are your prayers not being answered? Are you not obeying?

What a beautiful season we are entering into. All the yard work makes me think back to the garden called, “Eden that Adam and Eve tended.” What a beautiful place that must have been. If I like it here on earth so much I know I am going to love Heaven.

I always think of the Scripture in Revelation that describes all eternity with Jesus as this:

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Think of it. A beautiful place prepared just for you and me by Jesus Christ, Himself. This is what He said, “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2

Its going to be a wonderful place to be for all eternity with Jesus. We also can read that the Bible teaches the following:

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9

So what is the bottom line? If you don’t like Jesus now, and the life the Bible teaches you

need to live in order to be saved, then why would you want to spend eternity with Him? To save yourself from eternal damnation? Its not going to happen that way. Make a choice to serve Him today before you end up outside of the boat like they did in Noah’s Day. Jesus is coming back for us. Be it one at a time or all at once we need to always be ready. This may be the last day or hour you have to choose? Choose Jesus. Choose life.

“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:37

Why are You NOT Healed?

Some people seek Jesus Christ to heal them. At our church meetings many are healed!

Some receive healing, but they don’t stay healed, why?

1. Lack of Faith

“And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” Matthew 13:58

“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” 1Corinthians 2:5

2. Lack of Knowledge

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6

3. Lack of Obedience

“If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.” Malachi 2:2

“And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.” Acts 3:23

Spiritual Warfare Conference

What do you think of when you see the phrase ‘Spiritual Warfare’?

I think of guns and cannons coming at me from places I cannot see. I think of what the Bible speaks of as fiery darts sent from an enemy that is in another realm. If you think these kinds of thoughts, you are not far from the truth as defined by the Bible. It reads in Ephesians Chapter 6:12:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Ask yourself, ‘do things keep happening in my life that have no earthly explanation?’ If so, maybe something spiritual is going on that can be combated, if you just knew how to use weapons given to us in the Bible. Maybe, you just need a Spiritual Boot Camp. If so, we have one coming up in Kaplan, La. Speakers who are ‘Experts in War’, as one of the conference speakers has stated. This speaker also has a book entitled, “Becoming an Expert in War.”

On April 8^th and 9^th, ‘Defeating the Darkness’, will be taking place at Acadian Lighthouse Church. We will begin on Friday night at 7pm and again on Saturday morning at 9am. Easy Believism Salvation or Biblical Salvation

Having been a Baptist pastor trained in Baptist Bible colleges and seminaries; I did use the Roman’s Road to falsely lead individuals to Easy Believism Salvation!

The following is known as the Roman’s Road:

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

Next, the unknowing person would be asked to say the sinner’s prayer.

What is the problem with the above plan of salvation?

1. There are verses purposely left out!

2. There isn’t a sinner’s prayer given in Scripture nor is there an example of a sinner’s prayer in Scripture. NONE!

What are the verses left out from the Letter to the Romans in the Roman's Road?

Water Baptism is required to walk in newness of life!

“God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” Romans 6:2-5

Holy Spirit Baptism is required. One must have Jesus’ Spirit indwelling. Jesus’ Spirit is the Holy Spirit.

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:9-11

What did Jesus Christ say about salvation? He agrees with Romans 6 & 8 – one must have water & Holy Spirit Baptism.

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:5-6

Did Jesus Christ say anything about a sinner’s prayer? NO!

What Did Jesus Christ say? He said you must be born of water and born of the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of God.

Did He say you must say a sinner’s prayer? NO! Nowhere in Scripture does Jesus Christ say to say a sinner’s prayer!

When you face Jesus Christ at your judgment, what will you say? Will you say I chose the easy believism salvation in place of obedience to YOU?

What did Peter say about Biblical salvation?

“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Acts 2:37

What did Paul say about Biblical salvation?

“Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.” Acts 19:4-6

“And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” Act 22:16

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:6

What else did Jesus Christ say:

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

The start for ones salvation is:

Repentance, Acts 2:38

Water baptism for the washing away of sin, Acts 22:16

No Hand Holding in Islam!

Amazing Ancient Manuscripts Confirm the Genesis Account of Creation

There are amazing discoveries in ancient manuscripts that confirm the teaching that God created the heavens and the earth and how He did it. The earliest of writings are the Sumerian cuneiform writings found in ancient Mesopotamia. There are classes a person can take to read the tablets. The language is known as Akkadian. It is so exciting to go back as far as the earliest written language and discover that they too have an account of Noah’s flood. It may not be word for word as in Genesis but the timing and the writings do not conflict. There is a lexicon that can be downloaded online for free if you are interested in doing some translation to read some of the ancient texts for your self. Although you could just skip it and read the English versions but then what would be the fun or challenge in that? http://www.sumerian.org/sumerian.pdf. You can just download it to your desk top. While though I may not agree with all the Genesis account written into the Epic of Gilgamesh. I do find it interesting. I don’t have to believe everything I read. I can as a rational being with intelligence though glean some important facts that validate Biblical experiences and add to my knowledge bank.

Personally, if a pastor cannot read at least the Greek New Testament from the original text or interpret it then he is not worth my time. I want to know more and more about the text in its original language. My opinion counts though where I am concerned and personally I vote with my feet when I feel my valuable time is being wasted. It takes a while to dress and do my hair and drive some place on a weeknight or Sunday. So in the words of the New Testament Writer….I want to make my calling and election sure. I am not going to rely on anyone else to tell me what I need to do to be saved. I want to make sure it lines up with the Bible and I want to read it for myself. I am not wasting my valuable time or life based on opinion. I need hard facts.

“ Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:10 & 11

Is Jesus, Jehovah? YES!

If one were to follow the verses given below one would hopefully receive the revelation that Jesus is Jehovah. Jehovah is coming in the beginning verses with phrases describing himself. Those same phrases are used in reference to Jesus proving they are one and the same.

King James Bible

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8

“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” Revelation 21:6

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 12 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Is 44:6).” Revelation 22:12-13

“He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:20

The verses above are stating Jesus is coming as "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." As Jehovah is described.

“Thus saith the LORD (Jehovah) the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD (Jehovah) of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Isaiah 44:6

New World Translation

“I am the Al´pha and the O·me´ga,” says Jehovah God, “the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8

And he said to me: “They have come to pass! I am the Al´pha and the O·me´ga, the beginning and the end. To anyone thirsting I will give from the fountain of the water of life free. Revelation 21:6

Are You Called to Missions?

I have always felt a special call upon my life to be a Missionary.

What is a Missionary? It’s defined as the following: A group of persons sent by a church to carry on religious work, especially evangelization in foreign lands, and often to establish schools, hospitals, etc.

I have been very blessed to preach and teach the Bible in various countries of the World.

I am also a trained Nurse and can do Medical Missions. It is wonderful to share my adventures especially with young people. When you travel there are experiences that really enrich your life. You begin to be thankful for the things you have. It really makes you count your blessings. Paul the Apostle teaches the following principle in his letter to the Corinthian church.

“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:11-13 King James Bible

Training for Missions is important. Whether it’s a short term trip or a longer stay.

The world is full of people who need the saving knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Hello Students,

Having been raised as a Lutheran, then becoming a Baptist (Baptist Bible colleges and seminaries, Baptist pastor and Bible camp director), then becoming a Pentecostal, and finally an Apostolic, having experienced deception I am determined to be Biblical in all of my teachings!

Typically, man's teachings are not Biblically based. Most Apostolics have a solid foundation in soteriology, but from that point on they are basically Baptististic. Why?

My goal is to have Biblically based church meetings, Bible college and seminary classes, books, booklets, charts, sermons, etc.

This requires me to use the Bible and the Bible only to determine doctrine, church structure, attitudes, etc.

I must reconstruct most of what I have been taught to agree with Jesus' teachings.

Do you need tracts written in foreign languages?

There is a large problem with these tracts from the UPCI, they use Satan's perverted bibles. The only Bible available today that is acceptable is the King James Bible. All other so-called Bibles are perversions. Someday hopefully, real Christians will translate a New Testament based on Jesus' preserved Word. Until then, the King James Bible is the best!

Your Past doesn’t have to Dictate Your Future!

These words sound good, but Biblically I can show you they are true.

Turn in your Bible to 2 Corinthians 5:1-18

1. Old things are passed away and all things are become new.

(Verse 16 says “henceforth” meaning from this time forward.)

2. We are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

3. He is no longer holding things that have been put under the blood against us.

4. How do we put things under the blood of Jesus?

a. You repent of your sins. True repentance is not just crocodile tears and sorrow because you were caught doing wrong. It is making an about face turn from sin and walking the other way. (Matthew 3:2, Matthew 3:8, Matthew 4:17, Acts 2:38, 2 Corinthians 7:9, 10, 11)

b. Water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ is for the washing away of sin. If you haven’t been baptized Biblically, consider it. (Acts 2:38, Acts 2:41, Acts 16:15, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21)

c. The infilling of the Holy Spirit which gives us the resurrection power of Jesus Christ living on the inside of us also gives us power to:

1. Witness (Acts 1:8)

2. Overcome sin (1 John 5:4)

3. Be raised from death unto life with Jesus Christ (John 5:24, Romans 5:21, 2 Corinthians 2:16, 1 John 3:14, Romans 8:11)

Regardless of your current lifestyle or whatever things you have done in the past the Bible says that becoming a Christian according to what the Bible teaches is a brand new life.

‘Casting out Demons’

Some Christians teach Jesus spent 1/3 of His ministry casting out demons, another 1/3 of His ministry healing the sick and raising the dead and 1/3 of His ministry was teaching and preaching.

Is every Christian to be casting out demons? YES!

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” Mark 16:17

The above verse is teaching that everyone who believes is to be casting out demons (devils). A sign following a true believer is his or her ability to cast out demons. Do you believe? Then why don’t you cast out demons?

At Acadian Lighthouse Church, we take the Holy Bible literally! One of our members had a knee that was very painful. It had been very painful for along time. One of our members who has the Gifts of Healing laid hands on her, then Jesus Christ healed her. Today, she is walking around town without any pain in her knees! Thank you, Jesus!

Many people today are at odds with each other over things that will not matter when death comes knocking on their door. I like the old joke about a man meeting Peter at heaven’s gate carrying a huge suit case of gold. Peter had him open the suitcase and laughed at the contents. He then asked why in the world was a suitcase of road pavement so important? “The Bible speaks of streets of purest gold. Earthly treasures are not as important when you look at them in perspective. Let’s walk in divine precepts now. Treasure what is important. Treasure your family and friends. This is a new year and many are dieting. How about giving up things like resentment, guilt, unforgiveness and all the things that are spiritual weights this year? I promise you will feel better and look better.

Why Learn Biblical Greek?

Why are there over 100 English translations of the New Testament? Why are there so many English translations of the same Biblical Greek phrase? Which English translation is correct? The original preserved Majority Byzantine Greek Biblical manuscripts are correct. The Greek New Testament is the New Testament! All English Bibles are translations.

Light for Your Path

Faith in Jesus Christ is part of the greatest inheritance you can give or receive.

I was preaching last Sunday about faith. As a child, I can still remember the faith of my Grandmother Anastazie Guidry Dartez. She had a framed print of Jesus Christ praying on his knees at a rock, hanging on her bedroom wall. I have searched for several years all over the internet and in different art and antique shops for that picture to no avail! I had mentioned it during the sermon.

Monday morning when I opened my front door to my surprise there sat a copy of it on my doorstep. I asked everyone who was at the church meeting; none of them had placed the framed picture by our door! The Lord told someone to come to my house and put it there. It was exactly the same print and just as old. I cried for an hour after finding that picture.

I am so thankful to Jesus Christ for my heritage. I grew up in a family that prays and believes Jesus is God and answers prayer. I am so grateful that the path to Jesus was laid out before me. I had a Mother and Grandmother who prayed daily.

The Apostle Paul spoke of such faith being passed down from one generation to another in the following passage: “When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.” 2 Timothy 1:5

Keep praying even though you don’t think the situation is changing. Jesus answers prayer. Keep pointing your children down the right path.

Knowledge of the Word Changes Your Life

Col 3:10 And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

In studying this scripture this morning I began to look at the Greek manuscript. In clarifying the text the word man is added but in reality the preceding scripture Col 3:9 refers to the word anthropos

Not lying to one another is mentioned also in Col 3:9

The definition of lying here is ψεῦδος pseudos

Pseudos means false. To give a false impression would also qualify as lying. Anything that is defined as pseudos means false or something that appears to be true and even has the appearance of truth but is indeed not the real thing when closely examined.

In Jesus Christ we no longer do and say the things we used to do before we came to Him.
How do we do this?

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Yet we have to wonder how is my mind renewed? How can my mind be transformed? Is it done automatically? Lets look to the scripture for another text that has out answer:

First of all, we have to give some of our own effort or self will over to Jesus in this matter.
The Bible says to put off lying and anger. These are choice we make every day. We have the choice to sin or not to sin. Knowing the consequences of sin as a Christian we need to make the
Biblical choice. There is not excuse the Bible says we sin when we are drawn away by our own lusts.
James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: Prov 17:27; Eccl 5:2;
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein , he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

We have some things we need to put in order that we might match up to the life the Word is calling us to. Yes, the Holy Ghost changes us but we also have to give our will over to obey the will of the Lord.

Look at these scriptures Titus 3:2-5

2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. Phil 4:5;
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Secondly, the scripture speaks of the Renewing of the Holy Ghost. We have given a new life by the Spirit of the Lord.

Here is what 2Peter chapter 1 has to say about it:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. I
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

What example does the Bible give of a servant who knows the Lord's will yet does not apply it to his life?
Luke 12:47-48

47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself , neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes .
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes . For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Micah 5:2

It is so amazing how such good things can come from small places. The name “Bethlehem” literally means , “House of Bread”. It is in this small place that Jesus Christ was born. The Lord kept this promise. This small town of Bethlehem was a pivotal point in history for God’s people.

The Prophet Isaiah wrote the following prophecy:

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

We find in Matthew 1:21 the following words which fulfill Isaiah’s prophecy:

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.” Matthew 1:21-25

Jesus is all the things Isaiah said He would be. He is the “child” promised. He is the “son” given. He is “wonderful.” He is our “Counsellor.” He is the “Mighty God.” He is the “Everlasting Father.” He is the “Prince of Peace.”

Wait as David the King Waited!

“And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.” 1 Samuel 16:1

“Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:13

“David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.” 2 Samuel 5:4

David became king at the age of thirty, and he reigned forty years in all. David waited for Jehovah’s time for him to reign over Israel. David waited possibly thirteen to seventeen years for God’s Words to be fulfilled. During some of this period of waiting, David was fleeing from Saul who was determined to kill him. The point is David held to Jehovah’s promise patiently waiting his time as king. The Holy Bible doesn’t have him speaking about his kingship. David simply waited.

The application for Christians is to receive your personal promise by direct or indirect revelation then believe the promise will be fulfilled in Jesus’ time frame. If you have been told you will minister in Mexico, wait and stay committed to Jesus. He will fulfill his promise.

As a missionary in China, I had to prove the existence of God. The Chinese people had been taught, all life evolved. God had been taken out of the picture. My ministry was to prove there is a creator. EASY!
